Lexus ISf from LA auto show

Not BMW related but thought you guys may be interested in this demonstration at the LA auto show. Anyone can sign up to slip behind the wheel and run it to 100. The auto trans shifts are very quick and the throttle blips on downshifts are also quick. It's not going to be an M3 or RS4 but will probably be a nice every day monster. The V8 does sound nice. I think the rear exhaust tips are hideous...

exhausts are HIDEOUS! and that rear bumper looks like a huge box. no asthetics whatsover.

I agree 100000000000%, the tail pipes are nasty...not classy like our E92's

and it is out or proportions bad.

Lexus ISF= rebodied toyota rebodied and its not getting better looking. just because they throw some extra horses under the hood dosent mean it qualifies as a world class sports car a la BMW M, AUDI RS and BENZ AMG. And really, i think the F is so stupid, justt copy everyone else again Lexus, and pick a letter to designate performace models.

I dont like the Lexus IS-F however, for 53k, 415+hp, it really is good for everyday use.

Oddly the only IS with MT is the IS250. THe ISF comes with an 8speed auto that supposedly shifts quicker than Fcars.

IMO this car will be a perfect competitor to C class AMGs

I like lexus but I was really disappointed with this car

....I was really shocked, when I found out that the quad pipes aren't connected with the exhaust

. Thats's just sick(In a bad way)....And + a 8 speed auto....too many gears!

BTW....the C63 AMG is going to be a drag monster.....! Its does 0-60 under 4 and the 1/4 mile in 12.3 according to caranddriver.Those figures are amazing and faster then the new corvette(6.2 V8). That is faster then a E63 AMG.
