There are quite a few things that don't add up in this video, but the biggest one was the "teleporting" issue that was reported. Unless there were two great whites in that same spot (which is, considering everything else that happens in this video, extremely extremely unlikely), the shark moves from one place to a completely different spot in a few split seconds.

I also thought his reaction after nearly "losing his life or body parts" was not typical of the fight or flight central nervous system. He seemed pretty calm and collected and even thought to tape himself after making it to shore. He appeared to be kind of smirking.

I'd imagine most people would be on pure adrenaline and taking a breather to calm down and regroup.

Exactly. Crawling ashore, taking off my GoPro and taking a "selfie" whilst saying oh shit isn't exactly a normal reaction after almost dying in a way that most people probably have nightmares (including me) about.
