I’m not sure about the F90, but on the G90/G99 the front rotors are 10mm bigger with ceramics (16.1” for steel and 16.5” for CCB). I believe the rears rotors and calipers are the same size. The calipers are probably identical other than different seals to handle higher temperatures.

CCB are nice to have but not essential
I had multiple cars with CCB including Porsche GT cars , Audi , MB and BMW BMW CCB are the most impressive overall I would have predicted Porsche will be the best I am splitting hair as they are all great |

$30k brake job would be crazy on a 100k mile car. I mean what would you do with the car. What would a 100k mile car be worth?

My strategy is to never own a vehicle when the ceramic brakes wear out so it is not a problem |

They make zero sense, unless you feel like lighting $9K on fire:
1. dust - replace pads with isweep and that problem is solved for $500 bucks 2. stopping power - very similar, unless you think youre F1 worthy. fun fact, most people running on the limit at a track day use steel rotors and swap out CCBs. 3. cool factor - uh, not sure I understand this at all. If its the gold caliper, spend $700 and have them repainted. Cool to me is having $9K extra in my pocket. 4. price - you get a pebble kick up and crack a rotor during a spicy track day...$$$ Not trolling; my other car has CCBs so very familiar with either option, and I track. That said, I'm not interested in tracking this 6,000 lb beast. |

Are CCB's really dustless?
I have iSweep on my X5M and while they do dust less than OEM pads they still dust a lot where I have to wash my wheels pretty frequently. Now i'm on EBC reds and those dust a bit less than the iSweep 2000 i had but again still far from dustless.
