Excellent write up. All spacer info that anyone could ever want is all right here

One thing that would be great is to see if the rear wheel would fit in the front. The G90 wheel design looks great but the front wheel just looks way too small. Having the square 21" setup could be an option for people that don't want to go aftermarket.

Oh, we will certainly share; media to come. We did that to determine what we needed to do for our custom wheels..

We've updated the second post with our AST Lowering Spring media and also included photos for the square 21x11" setup.

For reference:

Quote:
Update 1/29: Apologies for the delay, a lot of projects going on. We are very grateful to AST / MOTON for providing us with a set of prototype lowering springs for our G90 M5. Since this is a prototype set, we're not going to comment on the ride or handling in the event that they tweak the final spring rates, but the overall lowering should remain pretty much the same on the production spring set:
1.25" front drop
1.125" rear drop

With BMW's "double wishbone" front suspension on the M5, you're able to keep the factory alignment specs when lowering, so our recommendation for spacers is going to remain the same at 12mm Fr / 12mm Rr when lowered. On the smaller models with MacPherson style front struts, lowering generally results in a bit more front camber, so you typically want to move to a slightly larger spacer to keep the same fender-fitment.

Recommended Fitment / AST Lowering Springs: 12mm F / 12mm R

And obviously with all the interest in running the square rear setup (21x11 et28 with 295/35R21), we also installed with and without spacers. A 12mm spacer in the rear is still ideal and while you can get away without a spacer up front, adding a 5mm spacer will retain the flush fitment.

Recommended Fitment / AST Lowering Springs / Square 21x11 et28: 5mm F / 12mm R

And for good measure we also included running the square rear wheel fitment with no spacers.

No Spacers / AST Lowering Springs / Square 21x11 et28

21X11” all around, lowered, with spacers looks perfect!

Does anyone know a price for the rear wheels?

Wow I agree that square setup looks sick! Should have came this way from the factory.

I found my answer, the MSRP for the real wheels is $1,510, but you can find them for about $1,250.
