Rumor that all touring builds are on delay due to some critical parts shortage. I've been #4 in line since July at a major M dealer and still don't have an allocation.

Well they have not released anymore allocations since the initial batch where each dealer received 1, so it may be a while before you see yours…there isn’t any indication of when/how many the next round will be. As far as delays, it’s mostly rumor at this point. Some have heard CCBs, but my build includes them and my dealer had heard nothing about it. There have already been G99 deliveries in Canada, as well.

Each dealer got 1 allocation of the touring in the initial drop with production planned through April. There are a handful of dealers that got early allocations (so they'll have more than 1)--and there were 10 allocations prior to the mass drop.

There have been no further allocations of the M5 Touring for the US market, so you'll have to be patient or find an open allocation elsewhere

Bobby Rahal in Pennsylvania appears to be the first dealer in the US with the G99 on the ground. 2 are listed as in inventory right now: Isle of Man Green & Carbon Black (both customer sold).

Edit: looks like Hendrick BMW in Charlotte has one on the ground also (customer sold, Isle of Man Green).

2 more are at the processing center and 12 more in transit.

First west coast one is for BMW of Monterey and is at the processing center right now.

Today i have signed contract and paid deposit. They said for touring there is chance to have it in 6 months since it is the first in the country and they may push this a bit. Cant wait to have it

I've had a G90 in production early-NOV, and it went pretty quickly until it's been stuck in QC for about 11 weeks now. My SA and Genius can't get any clarity on the hold-up but mine should have been delivered by early-JAN at the latest. I have no idea if there's a component shortage or some production issue. Also, I'm not sure how this impacts those builds in the queue as mine is off the production line.
