About to soak in the jet tub to relax my aching muscles. Then prepare dinner for my date this evening at home.

Weekends just about over but we went downtown for a friends bachelorette party. Friday night we had a nice dinner & went out. It was nice to be in a bar with a DJ. We had a lot of fun. Saturday we walked down Royal St and got out of the quarter before dark. We had a nice condo so drank and chilled the rest of the evening. Brunch this am and now on the couch. My friend snored like a grizzly bear and I didn't sleep at all this weekend.

I had no idea just how heavy these freaking wheels are. All four done, washed the bug and the beast before the wheels, in bed at 7:30 on Saturday night

Thank you!

I came in at 2:09 with a pace of 6:08/Km.

I was #52 overall in a field of 219 participants running in the 30-39 year old female category.

The temperatures at the star was -3C° and +2C° at the end. The course was slushy. Hopefully we'll have the final tally and pictures of the event this coming week-end.

You’re welcome And that’s damn good going, with a good overall placement for your group! It’s a great accomplishment, so make sure you bask in your well-deserved glory for at least the next couple of weeks

Looking forward to the pics

Dad is driving down in his Jeep tomorrow and we'll be heading out on a multi-day camp trip Thursday morning for a small caravan with my Land Cruiser. Should be able to squeeze in national forest exploration/dispersed camping, getting into the caves, beach time, and kayak trip. Going to be nice being truthful on my E-mail out-of-office saying that I will not have access to E-mail or phone

I'd rather be basking in the sun in Cayo Coco where I spent some of my Holidays this time of year with a cool Mojito. I still have a paid trip owed to me from last year's cancellation.

On the E90, that was always my Thanksgiving weekend chore. The first time, I had to scrub wheels of all the grime, clayed them, then generous dose of PoorBoys. On these, they only had a week of grime, so no clay necessary. I wiped off the calipers, then wiped on a layer of PB, but left it in place there.

Bonus: when you get done, you have this overwhelming craving for

watermelon!!!!! (stuff smells like it)

Sucks doesn’t it I had my holiday to Grenada cancelled last year because of COVID. Urrrhgh... hopefully we’ll be sipping those drinks on the beach in the not too distant future when this madness subsides...

This entire week has been a bit fucked between schedules, work schedules with contractors and we just broke ground on a $8M expansion with adding a new production line. My life just got very interesting for the next.....ever. This weekend - Friday night, gym and relax, Saturday, gym and relax, Sunday, back at work tearing down racking with a contractor buddy of mine that has hired me to help him. Of course, since I'm at my place of employment, I will be forced to be clocked in as well. I cherish my days off, but I can make an exception to make $75/hour for a day.

Massage Friday afternoon. Today is pseudo-Friday, so technically that counts.

Otherwise, water literally fell out of the sky yesterday and made the dust into little mud puddles on my truck and the wife's new G01. G01 needs a second coating of Z2, so that massage freeing up my shoulders will be a necessary prep for the rest.

Wash the X3 by hand then wash my garage floor. I'll probably spend a few hours studying and making notes for my thesis. Attachment 2550334 And making spaghetti sauce.Attachment 2550335

If I can find the energy, I need to reverse the door hinges on our new washing machine. I did the matching dryer's hinges last weekend...all 18 screws worth! The washer needs a special tool (included), and also requires moving the lock solenoid and wiring harness. Four pages of instructions.....

This weekend is my annual road trip to get my years supply of maple syrup. It's about 400km round trip. I usually buy 5 litres of syrup, a small 250ml tub of maple butter (it's great on toast) and some maple-sriracha roasted cashews (yummy anytime). The weather is supposed to be sunny but only around 0c.
