I sponsor women with kids here, basically I invite them in to my home, my kids are their kids friends and their kids come to my house for study sessions and tutoring and for playdates and lunches. Basically I'm babysitting so their mothers have time for their own therapy and for them to handle lawyers and living arrangements. Sadly the person I mentioned, I knew her. Yeah, not a happy story and since I still have extra stuff, I gave them to her and a friend of mine had an extra beater I bought for her.

I'm really proud of her for leaving the shithead but man why don't women walk earlier?

I don't know, really I don't. Emotional bond from the beginning maybe? Or maybe they think he's still decent to the kids and so that keeps them there?

But yeah, I don't get those relationships. I remember my uncle telling me a story one time where he witnessed this fight and the guy started to hit the woman and was being abusive. He stepped in to stop it (was in this work camp type thing) and both of them turned on him and started yelling at him. So he stepped away and said forget it, I'll never get involved in this type of thing again.
