I have scheduled an appointment for January 24th to install the secondary downpipe and cold air intakes. Will update you guys on the sound change.
P.S. My car tops out at 158 mph, quite low for an M5. Last edited by 7957007; 01-21-2025 at 10:33 PM.. |

Check my thread in the exhaust mods section
I just installed my jb4 yesterday and it transforms the car and I was surprised how smooth it is with the s68 compared to the s63 It felt much smoother then with my M8 I will put some e20 and connect the Westgate connections for more power and do some runs |

I had it on other cars as well and not a single issue You only cause problems if you try to play with custom maps and you don't know what are you doing |

Finally installed the secondary downpipes and replaced both resonators with an x-pipe. Front mounted air intake from RK tunes was installed last week, and also sounds super mean! The overall exhaust note is amazing! Just what M5 should sound like. Also, great pops and bangs, probably due to the secondary downpipe and cold air intake.
The downpipes were not a direct fit, so we had to work really hard to change the angle of the exhaust in order to fit them, but 12 hours later voila. Video clip from instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DFhIW...5lMjhkczd5djh4 |
