You can probably pull a fuse, but would likely get some errors on the dash.

Its great but...doesn't seem to like below -15C

I have an HEA M5 (G90), and its out of commission for at least 3 weeks. So far it needs a new lithium battery (which is 4 weeks to ship from Germany to Canada), and they are still researching a power-fault / steering issue that generates the "Increased steering effort..." error msg after sitting outside for a few hours below 5F / -15C (it usually clears within minutes or after a restart). The compound brakes also have a nasty squeal (supposedly normal for this type of M brake pad!?).

Other than that, it handles good on snow / ice (just watch the torque) and warms up inside quick.

But, right now I am enjoying an X1 while the M5 is at the dealership lol :/

Whoa!! I'm so sorry! This is a pretty upbeat post for a pretty frustrating experience. I'm hoping this is just a fluke for you ( and the rest of the M5s out there there).

Thx! It's very annoying especially after it's release was delayed 1 week due to the original recall. Just being hopeful this is only a 3 week issue and not longer. it was a risk I took with an HEA. Load up on the warranty and service plans !
