I didn't necessarily say that I personally liked that beat up style - but I was just merely stating that you guys, of all people, should enjoy the finer things of life. Dining, recreation, clothing, home, etc. You have the privilege of driving fine automobiles, why wouldn't you extend that to the rest of your life?

Well I'm very interested in fashion as I am currently have a job thats related to it (denim). The company martin margiela makes good pieces and yes it is expensive but in essence you get what you pay for just like a bmw buying aftermarket parts. But I have no idea wtf they were smoking when they thought of making and marketing these boots for that price.

I wouldn't blindly waste money on highly-respected fashion brands just because of their names. I think that's all it is. A name. A brand. Like BMW. People spend so much money on a whole new wardrobe just because it's the new style of the season...such a waste.

If you can afford to buy real designer clothing, then it will be high quality.

The designer crap we see at stores is the low end crap made for regular people.

boots like these are sometimes made specifically for the models to wear during fashion shows, etc.

they are not mass produced or made for the regular joe to wear

If you think these boots are expensive, ive seen a piece of yellow rope, tied in a knot and worn as a belt. it costed $700

Despite the looks I bet that boot fits like a dream and is actually a VERY well made boot. If you could get over the appearance that boot would probably be pretty awesome.
