Haha, trust me I would have no compassion towards the pedophile. I can't even imagine what would be going trough my head at that moment, but I know for sure that I put the children first in any crises, and my priority would not be revenge, it would be to get the victim feeling safe. That's all.

I have had the "pleasure" of learning just how much I love my kids, trough serious health issues waiting to be diagnosed. We had every reason to expect our son to have heart problems, hell first day in his life his whole brain was scanned to see if he's a vegetable, every organ of his was gone trough, and some day I have to go trough the pain of explaining to him, that because mother dearest had a flu while pregnant, you are missing an ear, and your jaw is growing crooked.

We got off easy, he's okay, happy and worth more to me than anything on this planet. It's been four years, but I still wake up in the middle of the night when I remember the feeling I got every time we had to go to the doctors office and I had to repeat to myself over and over and over again, that do not kill the doctor for not giving good news, that is not his job, his job is to find what's wrong. My perfect son, and they wanted to tell me about flaws.

I fucking know love towards a child, never doubt how much.

As for the mentioning of the tiny sound conflict in our house, I would say passive aggressive route taken there is no way comparable to a situation described in the ot.

That doesn't make any sense at all. A guy took a swing at you, you beat him up, and he didn't press charges on you because he didn't want everyone to know he got beat up by a girl? Might be empowering to think that way but he probably didn't press charges because no charges were able to be pressed due to him throwing the first swing. Regardless, cool

I admit, this is the difference between sexes. I show my nurturing side in this kind of situations more than the side the world gets to look usually.

In my home country also the parent would have to go trough the questioning process, and I would not take any risk that would keep me away from the child in distress even for a bit.

Thank you for your kind words, the boy is fine, and I learned a lot of myself and the world in the process. I could not be happier about all the things I have discovered because of this all, and I can truly say that the tough times seen have made me the happiest person on this planet.

I guess it is more of a crime to question a parent's love for their child.. but nobody is perfect - it's easy to lose sight of this.
I agree it's a male/female instintive reaction that differs.. most men would go berserk instantly but most women wouldn't. But there was that one case where a woman got a carving knife and carved chunks of meat off the back of the perp.. that was gruesome.

Your comment was a good one, and I didn't take it as criticism. I'm a pretty solid parent, I do my best to ensure they will grow up happy, loved and with the skills needed in the real world. They have my time and they get to annoy me to death with subjects they know more about than I do and I feel the wight of the world every time I read or see news like this.

Haha, I do berserk quite well, and I assure you all, my soft side would hold as long as the child needs me, then the game would be on. My kids are my life, and I would not leave the matter to rest.
