Thanks, that’s Interesting, I will just wait till break in to get past 5k then. Is anyone experiencing the clunk when driving around in dynamic plus with lowest transmission speed.. clunk as in a rough downshift when coming to a stop and then going. I remember someone saying this transmission is going to struggle with all the power, am wondering if it has to do with the setup. Hope it’s not a lemon situation starting to happen. It happens roughly 25% of the time I drive.

Very interesting comparison, thanks for sharing. That Rosso Corsa is just a beautiful colour.

I do like, but I will probably not keep it for long.
It drives great, feels quite close to a BMW XM, but handles way better then XM.
Feels faster than F90 even though it is not.
Seats are noticeably comfier than F90 seats. But not by a lot. I can’t find the button to adjust knee support bolster, maybe it doesn’t have that 🤷🏻*♂️
Also disappointed that it doesn’t have adjustable seat back.
B&W sounds noticeably better in G90 then same one in F90.
If you ever had F10 and loved Bang & Olufsen in it, then you probably felt disappointed about B&W in F90,
But I really enjoying music in G90 after numb sound quality in F90.
Would be nice to have massaging option in front seats.
No soft close feels like a miss out. Hopefully they will add that next year.
No active outside handles in rear door makes it feel cheap.
Whatever they used to upholster the seats feels rough, i can’t say that it feels cheap, but you can definitely tell it’s not real leather,
My F90 has full leather and it even smells fancy.
G90 doesn’t have that obvious scent in it, my G80 even smelled more BMW-ish then G90
Hi, I have a G90 from the F90 too, and did someone take you through this car? There are buttons on the seat but the adjustments you're looking for are in the iDrive and you can bring it up by hitting the seat icon on the door. You can either use the touch or the controller to get those adjustments. The seats are the same Merino leather and I find them a lot more comfortable than the F90's. The F90 full leather was an option that I thought was a waste so I didn't have it, and the extended is the same here. It does not have messaging seats, but I think I used them 3 times in the time I had the F90 so not really important. The interior is awesome in my opinion, but that's a taste matter. The performance is stunning, especially since everyone is complaining about the weight, but honestly, this is so planted I never notice it in 95% of driving situations. I'm also getting around 33mpg in this, and I use it as a daily and it runs mostly in electric when I do. In person this car has amazing presence too. So I couldn't be happier with it, and I thought I'd hate it. But driving the car has totally changed my opinion.

Thank you, I’ll look into the iDrive menu for that additional functionality for the seats.
I mentioned above, that seats in g90 feel more comfortable over F90 seats.
And I, as well said that G90 makes a great daily driver
G90 looks better in person than on pics.
It’s not as good looking as F90 exterior wise (IMO) but inside is awesome. It’s like a space ship 🚀

You don’t need to open up your “wallet” in your cellphone, and place your phone next to the handle to unlock the car, and then place it in the tray to activate the ignition.
In G90, once you set up Digital Key, you don’t even have to pull out your phone anymore, car recognizes the key when you walk up to the car and unlocks it for you, you get in and push the start/stop button and you good to go
That's so scray if someone stole your phone that there isn't a second authentication like face recognition or ping by default to allow drive off...

Keep your phone in a zip pocket
Same way someone can steal your key too you know
You can set up a PIN code, so whenever you get in your car you’ll need to punch it in to start the car

.
Thing is, progress with cars are reaching the point, where next step will be producing flying cars, you can only make cars as powerful and as fast…
.
Seats are noticeably more comfortable in G90 vs F90
But leather feels different
IMO G90 seats are like Veganza seats and F90 seats are Merino leather in a 530e
Of course not as big of a difference in terms of how you feel it when you touch it but it’s still there, kinda. Other then that it feels more luxurious compared to F90

I have to know: how do the seats compare to an e60 from a comfort point of view?

nordmanmg Congrats on your new M5. After the F90 M5 was built, the new ones are just too heavy to feel dynamic & on the road the new chassis is simply no longer a super agile machine. Despite all the technology bolted on & hidden technology in them, it's a platform that has over time lost some of that zest. Sure, it's quick because that electric motor is in the transmission. Giving it that instant surge & rush. But the team (because of government regulations & future mandates) has gotten farther ^ farther away from its core audience of purists. Have fun with it & just hang onto the F90 for a great while longer. IN the end it will be worth a lot more. The power to weight ratio of the F90 is pure proof it was the last of the great M5's. The new saloons are fancy & dandy. But the new G90 has lost the appeal of the original M5.

Stoked the new sound system is better or equal. I was in a 7 series with new iDrive and BW and it sucked. Any thoughts on exhaust sound/agression outside and inside cabin noise compared to F90. That’s the thing I most worried about.

The inside sound is great because it is all fake nice sounds
Go to the outside is silent and no sound at all lol
I was expecting it to be bad but not that bad
No crackles no rumbles and not loud outside shocking to be honest
The XM sounds amazing compared to the M5 and this does not make any sense

E60 seats are comfortable, but G90 seats are awesome.
Thing is, if you looking for a comfortable seats, get a 7-Series. There you can really feel the comfort. If 760 seats are 9 out of 10 comfortable, then G90 will be 8, you have 7.5 for E60 and 7.75 for F90, this all my point of view off course.

Inside the car you hear the exhaust because it’s pumped through the sound system. Outside, not so exciting.

Remember - when the Active Sound is disabled the media audio gets even better. Having thr same speakers playing 2 sources at the same time is always a detractor for fidelity of both individual sources.

Turn of ASD -> get a real exhaust = get better sound in and outside the car
