Go into the car menu off of the home screen and at the bottom there’s a thing called seat adjustment. Then there are little circles pictured over the seat click on the side bolsters and they’ll be some arrows. You press on the arrows and they adjust the side bolster

When you push the seat button on the door panel this screen pops on your idrive and you can easily adjust it

It does on my car (the door panel not the seat there is a small seat like button next to the lock unlock door button on the glass portion of the door)
Check again

I had a fully loaded coupe with akra and tune and wheels and if I wanted a GC would have gone with the new B8 GT. Now that its on its last year with old tech just didnt make sense. Rumor has it a new M6 is in the works that would be something.

Yeah, it does that. But, again, not a natural flow and unlike previous models where the touch of the controls at the seat base created the screen prompt.

Effectively this creates two separate places you have to go for seat controls. Consider the normal workflow - I get in the car, adjust the seat but for full adjustment not everything is available. I then have to know to move to the car door button to open a screen, which then allows you to continue.

Its overly complicated - designed by an engineer who was not thinking about the actual use. Its a really dumb design.

Also the reason for me that i moved from my m8 was the old tech and the old interior in general they did not do justice to the m8 with the lci (basically they did not change anything except for the bigger old idrive screen)

This is insane. Why is it not a physical button like the rest??

Ha physical buttons. You seen the next round of cars? Enjoy the solace of the few buttons you have left on this car, the overengineers are coming for the rest of em too.

I dont care if they are on the screen or buttons. But with this is both and in a non-user friendly clunky way. At least before once you touched the buttons themselves it would open the screen for additional options.

This is bad design.
