Got it today, tried it no sound! Took it back got another one still no sound! Sounds like the BMW Connected app still needs to be updated to IOS7. Just great waited a year for the iPhone 5 adapter and it doesn't work! ( 2013 E70 X5 with Apps installed).
Returned 2nd one come to find out it only works with 2014 model.
Enough of this BS! I'll wait and see how long for the iPhone 6 adapter to come out.

Without video out and plug-in, which are no longer possible with the new lightning adapter, I don't see the value of the adapter (clean look aside).

i think yours would be the Connect version.

Connect doesn't work on mine just tried it. Wait for media 2014.

I don't think you can even do that. If I recall correctly, the new lightning ports don't allow video transmission with this cradle.

Sorry to go off topic for a sec, but how do you play videos? I have a '13 F10 w connected drive. (Laptimer is cool, but that will prob fade in a month)
Only reason how I can possibly justify paying for the cradle option when I bought the car...Absolutely love cranking MOG!
