My daughter turned 4 this weekend, so had a little party for her. She's in a Minnie Mouse phase currently.

Always depends on the car. Different manufacturers have different obstacles. The Infiniti was great to work with for the window trim. Rubber on all sides of the chrome, for the most part. This makes cutting easy and the cut edges can be tucked inside the rubber. Looks completely factory installed. This also comes at a cost of labor time, as it then becomes time consuming. From prep time, measuring, cutting and install, this took me about 6 hours. When I did the E93, it took considerably less time. Smaller pieces of chrome due to convertible origami top. Nissan is notorious for large ass body panels, window trim is the same. I remember cutting two pieces at 9" W X 37" L, front doors top trim. The Lexus, I can do all 4 doors/10 pieces in about 3.5-4 hours.
The girlfriend assisted with holding lights, taking the trash out of my hand, taking the heat gun away from me (so I didn't burn myself - still did), and agreeing with me about what bastards the things that annoy me are. Had this not been the girlfriends car, I would have charged $200 for the install. There are small things that can be done to save time. When you cut the vinyl, you know you will need another piece the same size, cut two them. By the time you're finished with the first side, you already have the pieces cut for the second. No need for measuring and cutting again. Having the right tools are essential as well.

It was nice, but frankly, I can find bottles at around $30'ish that I enjoy almost as much...and Caymus runs at $110 up here. Just can't justify the price differential. But it was still a nice treat. Last edited by Joekerr; 11-15-2021 at 02:34 PM.. |

I think you may have glossed over some of the "assistance" parts that he mentioned were also done, and therefore implicitly expected as part of the $200 price tag.
Let me highlight one of the more important ones for you: "holding the light for me". Now I ask you...do you really want to suffer from PTSD flashbacks when you held the light for your father as a kid? I'd say you should consider paying 10x the quoted price so he just hires someone else to hold the light and you can avoid said flashbacks. Just trying to help both of you here...looking out for your mental welfare, and Rudi's financial welfare. I'm a prince among men really. |

Or the wrench. "Get me the wrench" "Which one?" "THAT one" "But there's like twelve wrenches" "The one that fits the thing!" "What thing?" *dad proceeds to drop what he's working on, throws the socket wrench already in his hand through the drywall, and walks over to the bench to say "THIS WRENCH"* Happy belated! |

Apparently. There was a single bachelorette party at a drag show in SanD, which meant I and my nephew had to stay home and watch his kids, so no casino that night (we waited until the next day) It's just not the same drinking/gambling before noon, if that's when you actually START

Gotta ask... I'm going to guess that neither are overly attractive (maybe moderate, but no second look type thing) and one has a distinctive boy look to her re haircut and mannerisms?
That just seems to be the case in every L relationship I've seen. I really don't get the look though. |
