e39 (because it's the e39 - enough said), then e60 (that v10 will always be awesome), then the e28, i would probably put the f10 last of the m5s - only because it went from performance sedan/super car to luxo cruiser with some speed. the f90 might climb that list quickly, have to wait and see (drive) it.

E39 is my personal fav. I saw a black E34 recently and it looked mint... great car. Love the wagons too, just because their unicorns now.

I would take any or all of them!

Greetings,

Everyone's got their favorite, for me it has to be the E60 - for the V10 engine

I hope I can find a manual version of the E60 M5 - low miles, owned by someone like me, who's meticulous and cares well for the car.

Cheers,
Merlin

E39 is a classic and still looks like a beast today. That being said the s85 engine is the best sounding BMW ever.

For me it's always been the E34 M5 as a favourite. Quad lights at the front and a throaty sounding I6.. mmm

Agree, this car is definitely one of the most fun BMW driving experiences I've ever had. I wish I had bought one on the cheap when it was still possible to do so.
