But the dealer would need to prove that the aftermarket exhaust caused whatever failure or issue.

In practice, the dealer denies your claim and then it’s up to you to lawyer up and take it from there.

It's silent but it's an M5.
And in no way will an exhaust ever void any warranty. Also pretty sure if you're in the M5 market you're not overly concerned for the price of an exhaust but probably just need a midpipe.
