Yeah I second this. I PPF’d the whole car except the rear and trunklid on my Z4 in matte frozen grey. If you get sap or bird droppings and don’t remove quickly it will mess up the paint. Not to mention the more likely rock chips on the side of the car

Thanks. Maybe we can have a G60/G90 group photo
I have 2024 G60 preordered it so one of the first in Ventura county. But wish I would of waited. But not sure I can put the mile on a car like G90 not cus can’t handle it. Since my F02 had that 4.4 TT and is still going a 310,000 miles. It’s just value
I have 32k on my G60 already. Anyways
I was at reveal at Pebble Beach Ladt August
Have great day yourself and again let Zion great car. Looks amazing on the road.

They still have to prove it though
Downpipes are modification of emissions equipment so they don't have to prove much with a failure. Secondary cats and axle back are in a different category.

Downpipes other than factory matching with a factory type warranty are no legal in most of the US.

Yeah, I normally do front end, in front of and behind the rear wheel and also loading area where the deck lid opens.

I don't do the doors, etc. I will do the roof on my M2 when it comes because it's carbon.

The way to remove water spots is with vinegar and don't rub. Vinegar reacts with the calcium and minerals left by hard water.

Won't attack the paint.

Bummer.

I ner let the dealer do anything paint or washed related.

Off topic, but how do you just abandon an order after it’s built? Genuine question. Maybe I don’t have enough experience with ordering vehicles.

Sweet ride, though! Great spec.

My understanding is that these orders are not binding in any way. The dealership will take delivery of the vehicle and then make an effort to contact you. If you are no longer interested it will go to the next person in line or go for sale in their inventory. I doubt it will take them long to unload these cars right now. Some dealerships here in Dallas have greater than a year wait.

I had some nasty spots on my car at delivery too, idk why BMW doesn't ship their frozen cars in a full cover like Porsche does. I spent hours attacking them with Dr. Beasely's stuff then laid their ceramic coat down so it's easy to clean now

Mine is a lease and I had the whole car PPF’d. I was too scared of the matte paint.

My MBB non frozen had a bunch of minor scratches and I have had previous new cars ordered from bmw they always come with imperfections. Bmw quality control sucks and these dealers dont care anymore as people are shelling money out left and right, they think delivering a $130k car is just a casual day at work. Mine had pre delivery grease marks on my new silverstone inside, shoe scuffs on the painters side skirt that’s still there because it was pretty deep. I still took delivery thinking I can I can buff it all out instead of their hack job fixes…
