We need to stop comparing the CS to the ‘base’ G90. The CS is the holy grail limited production of the F90 while the G90 is just getting started.
Nobody compares the M4 CSL or CS to the regular M4 saying it sucks because those two are faster and better. They also cost significantly more too. Alan

Owners of old models always find a reason to complain about the new models... When I bought my G80 no one could say that it was slower than the F80 so they complained about the style: "We don't care if it performs because it looks like a beaver, a pig. The real M3 is dead etc...😂

The new M3 may look like a pig or a beaver to someone, but it's still faster than the old F80 and that's the most important thing. Personally, I like the G80. The G90 looks good too, but the performance could be better. I don't like the interior because of the very poor quality of the materials. If I have to compare the quality of the interior of my G70 to the G90 there is a huge difference.
The G80 is much faster than the F80. You can explain it to yourself however you like. It's just that BMW released a new generation M5 that is slower than the outdated one that is the F90. This is pathetic. We'll see what BMW improves on this very large LCI, to be unveiled at the end of 2026

I'd argue that this G90/F90 range is about perfect for the street, in terms of ratio between acceleration intensity to acceleration time. Intensity is fun but if you can't keep your foot buried from a roll for more then a second or two before hitting "go directly to jail" speeds that's a negative in my book. |

Stock m5 g90 should have performance like after installing racebox chip. Then it would have performance + - like stock m5 cs. This is the minimum plan. Measurements from my latitude:
