i've been taking a few meds (not illegal) for about 2 weeks now -- due to a major concussion... and i've have so much work, that i've been eating irregularly and at different hours... can you recommend something that's cheap and effective? i want to flush my system.

Uhm, since you're taking so many antibiotics right now, I would suggest taking some sort of probiotics while you're on the meds and after you come off the meds.

The antibiotics are eating up much of your 'good bacteria' in your intestines, thus, you must replenish it. That's where the probiotics come into play.

Probiotics come in capsule, powder, and liquid form.

The cheapest and most common form of probiotics would come from yogurt.

Only certain yogurt brands offer 'live active cultures', so be careful which brand you buy. **Make sure they contain some L.acidophilus and L.casei bacteria cultures.

I would recommond going to the local Whole Foods or Trader Joe's or whatever store is comparable for these kinds of products.


Anyways, as far as colon cleanses go, here's a few things I can recommend at reasonable prices:

By meds, i was on oxycodone for about a week, and the headaches lingered, so i've been taking (as instructed by a doctor) approximately 12-16 advils per day. It's been 2 weeks now and i'm down to just about 6 advils per day.

It's strange you mention the yogurt... because i rarely eat yogurt, and just recently, i've been eating yogurt (for about 4 days now), and noticed on the container that there are 6 live cultures inside or something...

Anyway, i will be looking into the stuff you've suggested. Thanks again!
