My MBB non frozen had a bunch of minor scratches and I have had previous new cars ordered from bmw they always come with imperfections. Bmw quality control sucks and these dealers dont care anymore as people are shelling money out left and right, they think delivering a $130k car is just a casual day at work. Mine had pre delivery grease marks on my new silverstone inside, shoe scuffs on the painters side skirt that’s still there because it was pretty deep. I still took delivery thinking I can I can buff it all out instead of their hack job fixes…

Holy sh*t that is terrible! I have a frozen color on order and I’d be livid if they did that. Then $3k off?!?! Insult to injury. I’d be livid and would probably demand a new order after the hack cleaning job. I’m going to tell my dealer not to even wash mine before delivery. Let’s see if they actually listen… Sorry this happened to you.

It’s the pre delivery process that ruins cars, they roll the car mostly wrapped and protected, then it goes to the back where they rinse, peel off wraps and plastics etc and put their greasy hands inside… try to intercept them and supervise it

i told my friend who works at the dealership, to not let their detail guys do any cleaning to the car, ill have it dropped at detailing shop and have them deal with it and ceramic coat it

Saw an FDG example this weekend. Gorgeous. The frozen color really suits the G90.

I'm having trouble choosing between dark graphite and the frozen grey, and MBB....and carbon black. Lots of colors look good on this beast

Nice!!! I believe I looked at that exact car at Classic BMW. Definitely looks much better in person.

First impressions:

1) Car is an absolute power beast. The instant torque available at start and after 3rd gear is reminiscent of my previous Model S.

2) I've only done a few hundred miles so far but the power IMO negates any weight issues. Very planted on curves and turns.

3) The interior especially the red seats are absolutely eye popping.

4) The car is definitely a head turner. Already have had several compliments. The frozen grey really makes this car look even more aggressive.

5) I was afraid I would be severely disappointed by the exhaust note from the outside but the cold starts actually sound pretty damn good!

Looks incredible. Did you get lucky and get Pirelli tires or did you buy them afterwards?

Yeah, weather has been shit in PA for the past month. I've had my Storm Bay M5 since December 5th and only driven it once so far. Granted, I was out of town for a full a week but it's been wet or salty roads since then.

Car looks great. I think the rear would look way more put together if that whole gloss diffuser was body colored. Interested to see someone do an aftermarket wrap in a non black color and include that bit to see it.

I never like the high gloss plastic, it scratches so easily, and painted panels generally just look better and hold up better.

Thanks
Agree i also hate gloss black but in rral life not that bad compared to the pic
Black saphire metallic will blend with it and makes the rear look better
