You have the same situation there though. He's running slick tires on a chassis that never used those, which provides a couple seconds. Your right. Although i think if Rossi did join im sure he would get a championship, not in rookie year but in couple years of racing im sure he has all the capabilities to win.

Ferrari still wants him and even offered him training after he broke his leg this year. Although Valentino was quoted as not wanting to go to F1 but is more interested in WRC.
