Unless something unforeseen happens, it’s another RB 1-2. For Charles it’s about damage limitation, this is a great track to take a grid penalty as it’s easier than most tracks to pass. I can see him claw his way to a top 4 finish as their pace to the third best team is significant. I wouldn’t be surprised if he passed Carlos as well due to their race pace disparity all year. I’m just hoping they can get the reliability under control.

Straight from the Prancing Horse's mouth:
"UPDATE: A new Control Electronic has been fitted to Charles’ car prior to FP2. It is the third of these elements used so far this season - only 2 are permitted - therefore Charles takes a grid penalty."

I recall having to take evasive action with my former original M2 on climbing Stelvio Pass (Western leg with long straights from Bormio to Stelvio Pass summit + sightseeing break + back to Bormio) in Northern Italy around 6:30am (spirited morning stint before getting breakfast) ...twice.... for marmots (Murmeltier) running across the road.

2.6bar at 6am engine start in the valley (1225m above sea level) - tire pressure keeps increasing as you move on to the 2.757m Stelvio summit:

Great view!

Yeah I am always worried about hitting those things when driving on country roads. Some of them are quite big and I'm pretty sure you'd lose control if you hit them in a small sports car.

Met this buddy during a sightseeing break at Großglockner High Alpine Road (Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe section). He/she was not shy at all. You don't want to crash into this fella.

Yeah you wouldn't want to hit it, pretty cute little thing. It's horrible when they dig holes all over your yard though.

Best damage limitation is for Ferrari to replace Carlos.

Carlos was close to Max, he made a mistake towards the end of the lap.

But with who? The only free driver would be Gasly, because Alpine wouldn't ever let Piastri go to a team that can out compete them.

It is kind of funny because everyone here except me said Sainz would outperform leclerc.

See the interview video with HAM (yesterday): basically he says that the W13 is problematic to drive, no matter the set-up (issue with "the fundamentals"): "It's just a monumental fight the whole time to keep it out the wall."

Quite sobering.
